The Ophthalmological Departments at Medifirst clinics and Athinaiki General Clinic are equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical tools, offering specialised solutions for all age groups. Our medical team consists of experienced and specialist ophthalmologists, who stay up to date with the latest scientific developments and international research, ensuring a high level of care based on best practices.
Our objective is a tailored approach, with the respect and care needed to maintain and enhance the vision of each patient. We offer the full range of ophthalmology services, including diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of eye disease. We prioritise quality and safety in every medical intervention, addressing conditions affecting both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye.

General services offered by the Ophthalmological Department:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic conditions: We provide comprehensive services for conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye disorder.
  • Preventive care and monitoring: We offer regular eye check-ups, especially for patients with a predisposition to ophthalmic disorders such as diabetes, people with extreme myopia or those with a family history of glaucoma.
  • Ophthalmic care for children (only at Medifirst clinics): Our department also provides specialist ophthalmic diagnosis and care for children, identifying and treating conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye misalignment).
With respect and dedication, our doctors work daily to ensure the best possible eye care for all our patients. Our aim is to maintain and improve vision, using advanced methods and offering personalised solutions tailored to the needs of each patient.
